Tim had a great thing going with Last Man Standing and then this new season appeared. Everyone I know hated it. The casting stinks, the story line stinks, the new Girl stinks and boyd the poor little guy Stinks. This New season of LMS smells like a Dead Skunk in the MIddle of the Road. Tim if you have any control of this show take control otherwise bail out before the crash.

You know just because I havenít been a member doesnít mean I havenít been a fan. I have watched Tim since he was a nobody doing standup in the Comedy Club. I never said anything about Tim being bad on this show. If Canadians were able to read you would see that the problem is the show and the Liberal twist it has taken and the Very poor choice of a way to transition the new girl into the oldest sisterís position. The show was enjoyable because of the way the family functioned and got along without the political overtones. Now if the Overtones were the result of Timís doing then shame on Tim but if they were introduced by ABC then shame on Tim again for letting this wonderful show take such a stinking route. If you had taken the time to read the reviews of the first show you would have found I am not by myself in this opinion. 99% of the mail to ABC about the show reflects my opinion exactly. Now I have seen a second show and while it was toned down it still stinks. On itís current path it will be lucky to make it until the end of the season.

Crying or Very sad
Our country is having a huge problem with electing a Socialist, Communist, Marist to office for a second term that is trying to turn our country into another Canada. This program among so few others was a retreat from that and now that has been taken away from us. Being a Canadian you really donít know what Freedom is all about. I have lived and worked in Canada over the years and Iíll tell you it isnít a treat when you get paid and almost 48% is gone to taxes and then every freaking time you turn around you have GST etc. tax to be paid and for what? You can keep you liberal ways and your Liberal country out of my TV programs and for that matter my country. Have a nice day and donít let the Border gate hit you on the way out.

I think this poll is very unfair and biased. ( all one way ) and negative. Where does one vote when they like the show? I have been a Tim Allen fan for years. I support Tim, NO MATTER WHAT!! Infact, I am looking forward to finally meeting, Tim, on February 2, 2013. I bought VIP tickets to his show. I suggest that you put a fair poll up if you are going to do one, and give everyone a fair vote, and opinion. Thank-you!!!
Take care everyone,
Ed

I wanted to meet Tim for over 20 yrs. My house is less than 2 hrs away from his Mich house. I would have done anything normal to have met him over the years and when I finally did, was a dream on the bucket list come true. Not only is he funny as anyone expects, but he is as down to earth as they get. Sincere and geuine and he took special time out of his day to meet me. A one on one meeting. He is truly a great guy. I seen him 4 x in person. The last time was sitting behind his wife watching Last Man being filmed when Nic Jonas was on. Tim looked dead straight at me and I could see he pondered...hmmm have I met this guy before? Yes you did Tim...Niagara Falls. LOL
I could have asked his wife,to see him again as I sat beside her. But I just wanted to respect the man for his talent that day and I did. I could have said hey, remember me the idiot from London On? LOL
If I ever get a chance to talk to him. Ill feel way more at ease and want to talk shop about cars...
I was way to star struck when I met him. When I left, I felt like he treated me as a long lost friend.
That you can not get just from any actor.....Tim is all class.

That poll doesnít give the reader much room to proclaim their opinion in the positive, does it?

Let me tell you, for the record, I like the new show. If I canít vote it in Iíll just go ahead and say it here.

Now, seeing Timís new show, I suppose one canít help but give in to the natural tendency to compare it to Home ImprovementÖ (guilty, as charged).
In that light I donít think it musters upÖ But only insofar as Home Improvement was such a great show, I would challenge any of the current or even recent shows to compare to it, and there are some good ones, some really good ones out there. And shows change over time. Some get better, some get worse. Even HI had its ups and downs.

It isnít like weíve got four years of this show to look back onÖ
My humble opinion: I say give it a chance.

I probably wouldnít know what to say to Mr. Allen if I ever had the opportunity to meet him, except to tell him Iíve really enjoyed his film and television work over the years and to thank him for putting up this site for us all to yak on.

I tried to talk to a television star one time, many years ago. One morning back in the late 1970s a local station had on Ron Glass, of Barney Miller fame. The interview was interesting and they had a line open for callers with questions or comments. I dialed the number and waited patiently for my turn with my question in mind. Well, when it came my turn and they put me on, wouldnít you know it, I couldnít recall his name and so I just called him Harris. I was cut off really quickly and it wouldnít have mattered anyway as I immediately forgot my question in the heat of the embarrassment.

(sigh) oh, well.

Ever since Iíve been content to just watch Ďem on TV.

Embarassed

Best wishes, one and all!

I love LMS! It is a fantasy that a well-off couple can somehow control their almost grown kids and hilarious in so many ways. Tim-sorry I'm just a year older than you-please stop throwing your little political monkeywrenches in where we are all enjoying the show. The Clintons are not as bad as pennies turning up to many of us and we love and trust our public school teachers. You are the same age as my sister who died recently and I think of you as my funny brother and have followed you and your humor for a generation with great joy. Some of your comments seem meanspirited to me. We all need to grow up and take better care of one another. Much love to you and your family this coming year. Please keep the good LMS episodes coming.

Look, I was very pleased to find out that LMS was renewed for a third season even though it was regulated to Friday night. Though I may not always agree with the political jabs I still found the show humorous and well thought out. Especially since I have two daughters of my own becoming teenagers it's interesting that I have to deal with the same stuff on this show. Thanks Tim for the art you dedicate yourself to and the humor you provide.

Found the show almost by accident a month or so ago and am now hooked. Where else on network TV can a guy see an AR-15, AK-74 and MP-40 on display without the usual stacks of dead people? Oh, and the wife dig's LMS too and she's a D. And Timbo, if you quit throwing those haymakers at the lefties you'll lose me 'fo 'sho...not being ugly...just sayin'.

Only criticism I have thus far is the episode where "Lady" got knocked up. Dude, I have a 135 lb male German Shepard (JD the Super Wonder Puppy) and even he could see "Lady" was no lady at all. Blocking? Editing? Maybe get a female 'Shep? At least someone had the good sense to use the world's greatest dog breed so kudo's for THAT!

Idea's for future episodes:

Mike and Kyle surprise Mandy with a restored 72 442 Hurst/Olds convertible (aah aah AAAH!) which sends Ryan into a rage causing him to assemble his Prius driving friends to blockade the house. (hijinks and hilarity ensue)

Mike discovers that Eve secretly attended a Practical Shooting event with Chuck and in a fit of one-up-manship Mike enlists the aid of Ed to equip her with world class 3 gun gear. Vanessa becomes concerned when she overhears Eve swooning over her new TAC-12! (I'll wait while you look all that up)

Okay, it's Friday and the show starts in 30 min's...gotta run.

Peace, Love and Bobby Goldboro everyone!
