Greetings, Jordanary.

Yeah, I don't know who's playing Freddy this time around, but whomever it is is going to have a tough act to follow. I mean, it wasn't my favorite movie of all time but Robert Englund was awesome. His only trouble seems to be living it down. Years ago he guest starred in an episode of Babylon 5. He played the leader of a flock living with an alien monster in an otherwise uninhabited & forgotten level in the station. Security chief Garibaldi finds himself trapped there with the lot and at one point Englund, preaching to his flock, holds up his hand with outstretched fingers, "Consider the hand", he says. The only thing missing were the blades he had had in Nightmare. Tell me that wasn't homage to the Nightmare movies!

I'm still waiting for them to remake Logan's Run. They say it will be more like the original novel, which the 1976 movie seemed to depart from at every turn. However, the project seems to be on eternal hold. Leastwise, it's been so for several years.

There're also rumors going around that they're going to make a block buster version of the anime classic Robotech.

I actually read the book Logan's Run and I saw the movie when it came out. It was great for its time on the big screen but I saw it on TV a couple of weeks ago and it really sucked.

Here is a webpage for you on the new one. They are looking for a real breakthrough. I love science fiction. Maybe I could help them out with what they need to do.
