I would like to start a collection of interesting quotations from famous people.Quotations that make you think... or laugh... or cry...

Everyone knows some of them. So please post your favourites...
Could be very interesting...

I start with this one:

My father used to say that too...

Maybe it is original from Martin Luther?

Lol, it's funny how our brain reacts like it's, to some degree, high on something when it lacks air... Laughing

It´s actually a song name. Whitney Houston is an american R&B singer, who also starred in a film with Kevin Kostner. The Bodyguard, if you remember it.

"Everyone knows some of them.." but I don't remember very wise words from anyone right now. So I'd go with:

"My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Laughing

"You see men sailing on their ego-trips -
blast off on their space-ships -
million miles from reality -
no care for you -
no care for me -
So much trouble in the world ...
All you got to do is give a little -
give a little - give a little...
One more time - ye-ah ye-ah !"

Bob Marley "So much trouble in the world"

Humor is the great thing, the saving thing. The minute it crops up, all our irritations and resentments slip away and a sunny spirit takes their place.

Mark Twain
