What a great book about life, evolution, physics and nature in every form.
Written in a way one can understand even the difficult themes about for example atoms or cells. And of course written with such great Bryson humor.
Just the first sentences fascinated me right away:

"Welcome. And congratulations. I am happy you made it. It was not easy to get so far, I know. I really assume, it was more difficult as you might think."

This is directed to the reader as a man in the evolutionary process !

I wish I could keep all the knowledge in this book in my head - but I`m sorry, my brain is too small for all that.

When it comes to non-fiction books, I am just like a kid - prefer the illustrated versions. Smile
