In the past few years there have been allot of story's / accusations , that man never actually walked on the moon,
that it was just a stunt to put them ahead of Russia in the space race.
Lots of points have been made such as
. The Flag That they carried and dug into the surface of the moon was fluttering and there is no wind / atmosphere on the moon

. That there were only 2 men on the moon , so who took certain pictures

. Shots from below Armstrong as he takes his first step show that some body had to be below him on the ground taking the picture , so how was he the first man to walk on the moon...

And lots of others
Theres been arguments such as::
The Shuttle Took Off , headed towards the moon and back and landed in Area 51 which is the only uninhabited / unbuilt on land on the earth (or so rumored), And is an Air Force Base - (Although people suspect its also used by scientists carry out they're research and there is ! STRICTLY NO ACCESS ! To any body , and you cant see anything across it for miles ,so you wouldn't see the shuttle land And there they could have filmed the Footage The World Watched in amazment

Also it has been said that the pictures and footage where fake and could have been done on a set..

Heres the link to a high detailed story on it::

So what dose every one out there think?
Did man really walk on the Moon?

No, I don't think any human being ever actually set a foot on the moon.

It's all a hoax. A fake.

That's what I believe anyway.

You guys are a bunch of loose nuts.

Not only have they been up there, but they're partying up pretty big, right now. The first one built and the only one still standing.

Don't believe me? Look it up.

Considering during the 60's, the USA was at the height of the Cold War with Russia, America couldn't be seen as a weak link. Also, John. F kennedy predicted that before the end of the 60's Man would be on the Moon, so it was probably a better option to try fool the public and hoax the footage than to let their biggest rival in the World strike a huge moral victory by beating them to the Moon.

We probably haven't even reached the moon yet.

Plus, Neil Armstrong was seen on cameras stepping off the spaceship which would go down in history as the first time man stepped on the moon

So who set up the cameras already there? Obviously that person was the first man to walk on the moon. Unless armstrong had stepped on the moon to set them up previously, and then declared he was the first man on the moon, just not saying it had been accomplished minutes earlier!

The filming of Armstrong setting foot on the moon, was obviously not his first step onto the moon, but a "staged" shot. He probably nipped out the back door and set the camera up first.

Do I believe man (American) has set foot on the moon? Yes, they have been a there 6 times I think. Even if the Americans weren't the first I am sure they have still been there.

Do I care? No not really, it's unlikely I will ever go see Laughing

Hmmm. I just noticed that. But it's not my site. I just thought it curious. Eclectic. Odd. Weird, actually.

I think I'm going to cry. I really didn't believe there was anyone anymore over the age of 12 or an IQ higher than 50 that believed this "it was faked" crap. Do you all have your membership in the Flat Earth Society up to date?

I don't think either Tim ever did anything that was bad science, just over zealously applied or misguided science.

(Lord, please tell me this whole thread was a joke and I just didn't get it.)

I watched a discovery channel special about this topic and it said that if we really did land on the moon, the photographs would not have made it back with the shuttle due to radioactivity. They would have been destroyed.
You also have to take into account that the U.S. and Soviet Union were in the middle of the space race. We were losing, and out of nowhere we announced we were going to go to the moon. The space shuttle they "used" to go to the moon was no better protected than a pop-tart in its wrapper.
We have more technology in our modern-day calculators than they had in that entire shuttle. If our technology is so much better now, why don't we go back.

So. If a meteorite falls on the moon, but no one is there to see it, Neil Armstrong does not exist?
