IŽd like to know, just for my personal interest, what sequencer program do you use and why.

Dou you have any recommendations for VST Intstruments, especially for brass and guitar (freeware if possible)?

I use Cubase SX2, still figuring out how it works.

I have Cubasis VSt 2.0 from Steinberg, but I didn't have the time to use it. Meanwhile it's probably outdated.
