Well, Wife left window open.... and cookies on the counter....and now we've got Ants... Evil or Very Mad
besides the run of the mill Ant traps, anyone have any good tips for getting rid of Ants?
I am just looking for some "Home Improvement" here, lol. Question Very Happy

Bleach kills ants quite successfully!

Actually, after you remove the attraction (cookies) the ants may just decide to leave on their own. Leave no food, moisture or sweets since that is what tends to attract them. Years ago I used to have a line of ants coming out my window and through my (then toddler's) toy box which had all sorts of interesting snacks for the little boogers. Since my dog typically enjoyed the crumbs my son gleefully flung about but couldn't get to the bottom of the toy box due to the toys (including a Buzz lightyear of course) I cleaned out the toy box and the ants vanished...

I must say I do not like insects.
I recognise this as a fault of mine.
However I am what I am and they scare me.
Just you thank your lucky stars it is ants whom have chosen to afflict you.
Wasps on the other hand. . . . .

Not crazy about wasps myself. I have heard that wasps cannot see red so you could wear a red shirt to avoid being bothered by them. However, that would open you up to the dangers of the red shirt: http://memey.com/funny-storm-trooper-and-star-trek-red-shirt-meme
