I have spent the last 3 plus years taking trips traveling the old road. I have many books on Route 66 but The EZ66 Guide by Jerry McClanahan was always with me. I suggest anyone taking the trip pick one up.

I have just put out my own self published book Route 66: A Visual Journey Down America's Main Street. I would love to hear what the members of the board think about it. It is available at my site www.route66forever.com. It was put together from a gear heads perspective. The last chapter is called GHOSTS and is tribute to some of the rusting cars I found along the road.
